By commissioning a piece from JKC Woodwork, you agree that all images of the finished products, including those that are personalized and may feature names, logos, or other identifiers specific to the client, become the exclusive property of JKC Woodwork. We reserve the right to use, share, and publish these images on our website, social media platforms, advertising, marketing materials, and in other promotional endeavors without restriction. This consent is given without the need for further permission from or compensation to the client. JKC Woodwork commits to using these images respectfully and in a manner that highlights the quality and artistry of our work, contributing to the appreciation of custom woodcraft.
Submissions
We welcome your comments regarding the jkcwoodwork.com website. Colors and Appearance
We have done our best to display our products as accurately as possible. However, color, texture, and graining variations can occur in natural products like leather, wood and stone. These are not normally considered imperfections. For leather products all colors are bound to have variations in every production line. Color representations on computer terminals and screens can be different based on settings and various display technologies. You agree that you cannot dispute the finish, or color or texture or any other physical attribute after taking delivery of a product.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Order Process: To initiate an order, customers are required to fill out an Inquiry Form available at https://www.jkcwoodwork.com/contact. Upon receipt of the Inquiry Form, JKC Woodwork will provide the customer with a quote based on the specified requirements. The quote will detail the cost, estimated timeline, and any other relevant details pertaining to the order.
Payment: Full payment is required for the order to be accepted and for work to commence. Payments must be made in accordance with the payment instructions provided in the quote. JKC Woodwork reserves the right to withhold starting any work until full payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy: Once payment has been made and work on the order has begun, the order cannot be cancelled. As such, no refund will be provided if the customer decides to cancel the order after work has commenced. This policy reflects the custom nature of the work and the resources allocated to starting the project.
Changes to Orders: If a customer wishes to make changes to their order after work has commenced, such requests may be accommodated subject to the feasibility of the requested changes and at JKC Woodwork’s sole discretion. Changes may result in additional costs and an extension of the original estimated timeline. Customers will be provided with a revised quote detailing any changes to the cost and timeline, which must be agreed to and paid for before the changes are implemented.
Refusal of Service: JKC Woodwork reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders at its discretion, including, but not limited to, situations where the requested work is deemed unfeasible, beyond the scope of our capabilities, or conflicts with our ethical standards or policies. In such cases where JKC Woodwork cancels an order before work has commenced, a full refund will be issued to the customer.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review their requirements and the provided quote before making payment to ensure that all aspects of the order are understood and agreed upon.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Costs: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The amount of shipping costs will be determined based on the weight and size of the custom piece once it is ready for shipment. JKC Woodwork will provide the customer with a shipping quote, which must be approved and paid by the customer prior to dispatch.
Carriers: JKC Woodwork utilizes reputable shipping carriers for the delivery of its products. The selection of the carrier will depend on the destination, size, and weight of the shipment. Customers will be informed of the carrier used for their delivery once the shipment is ready.
Shipping Restrictions: Due to the custom nature and varying sizes of our products, shipping restrictions may apply to certain locations or items. JKC Woodwork will communicate any such restrictions during the order confirmation process.
Estimated Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times will be provided to the customer once the shipping arrangements have been finalized. Please note that these are estimates, and actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside of JKC Woodwork's control, including but not limited to carrier delays, weather conditions, and customs clearance for international shipments.
Lost or Damaged Goods: JKC Woodwork is not responsible for goods that are lost or damaged during shipping. The risk of loss and damage passes to the customer once the goods are handed over to the carrier. Customers are encouraged to consider purchasing shipping insurance to protect against the possibility of loss or damage during transit. If a customer decides to purchase insurance, it must be arranged directly with the carrier or through a third-party insurance provider. JKC Woodwork will provide any necessary assistance in providing information required for insurance purposes.
Tracking and Receipt: Customers will be provided with a tracking number once their order has been dispatched, allowing them to track the delivery status of their items. Upon receipt of the shipment, customers are advised to inspect their order for any signs of damage or discrepancy. Any issues should be reported directly to the carrier as per their policy for claims.
International Shipments: For international shipments, the customer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees associated with the importation of goods into their country. JKC Woodwork is not liable for any delays or additional costs incurred due to customs regulations.

Return and Refund Policy
All Sales Are Final: At JKC Woodwork, we dedicate a significant amount of time, care, and craftsmanship to each custom piece we create. Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds once an order has been placed and production has commenced.
Quality Guarantee: While we do not accept returns or offer refunds, JKC Woodwork stands behind the quality of its craftsmanship. If your order arrives with a defect in craftsmanship or materials, please contact us at jkcwoodwork@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery with detailed photographs and a description of the issue. We will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and determine the appropriate course of action, which may include repair or replacement of the defective item at our discretion.
Damages During Shipping: As stated in our Shipping and Delivery policy, JKC Woodwork is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipping. Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance to cover their items during transit. However, if you receive your order with visible shipping damage, please document the damage with photographs and report it to the shipping carrier immediately to file a claim according to their policy.
Cancellation Before Production: If you wish to cancel your order before production has commenced, please contact us immediately. Cancellations are only possible if production has not started and will be at the discretion of JKC Woodwork. If a cancellation is approved before production begins, a full or partial refund may be granted at our discretion.
Customization and Satisfaction: We work closely with our customers during the design and quotation process to ensure that all specifications and requirements are understood and agreed upon. It is our goal to create a piece that meets your expectations and requirements. As such, we encourage open communication during the design process to ensure your complete satisfaction with the final product.
